I am thrilled to share that last week I made my debut on television. I was a guest on KSEE24/CBS47 in Fresno.  The concept of the spot was to introduce Fresno to some exciting wines that are easy to access in the area.  My first thought, of course of Rias Baixas!  I love Albariño and it is perfect for the warm hot summers of Fresno.

But you don’t need to be in Fresno to enjoy Albariño. The light body, low alcohol, crisp acidity is a perfect for any location. Plus, with more wineries “experimenting” with how they are processing the wine, there is an Albariño for every course of your meal.

Rias Baixas is located in the Northwestern portion of Spain known as Galicia. The granitic soil with mineral-rich alluvial top soils which is a combination of clay, silt, sand and gravel provide for the non-mistakable sea, citrus, green apple, stone fruit and tropical fruit aromas. But I’ll stop writing about the wonders of Rias Baixas and Albariño, because you can watch me rave about it in the television segment.
