Wine Blogger Reviews
Allison Wallace from AdVINEtures rates our wine “EXCELLENT.”
Medium to dark red in colour, the nose is very fragrant, offering up scents of black currants, and black cherries with nuances of tobacco leaf.

Michelle Williams, just recently named on of the Top 100 Most Influential Wine Blogs of 2015, had this to say about our wine:
It poured garnet with purple highlights into the glass and offered inviting aromas of cherries, black raspberries, plums and currants with baking spice notes of cinnamon and nutmeg, accompanied by chocolate and white pepper with a touch of chili peppers on the finish. It was silky smooth on the palate with a velvet mouth-feel, integrated and tamed acidity and tannins that are well-structured and balanced, leaving a medium finish that is smooth and pleasing.

Li Lane of TheWiningHour says “We enjoyed [this] Cabernet Franc and certainly deem it worthy of having its own day [CabFrancDay]”
To the nose, it had aromas of spicy, dark fruits such as raspberries and dark cherry and fresh herbs. Spicy raspberries were also on the palate. In addition, it was earthy, peppery and smooth with soft tannins.

Shiba Sommelier says “This is a great wine; 4/5 Bones.”
Blackberries, black currants, dark plums, and aromas of spiced rum on the nose. More blackberries, plums, dried flowers, and black cherries on the palate with a hint of molasses and nice acidity to keep the alcohol in check.

Lauren of The Swirling Dervish says “The Budds have lots of love for Cab Franc, and have devoted all of their energies into crafting a superb varietal specimen.”
It is an intense, deep red in the glass, the color of a perfect ruby. Seductive aromas of blackberry and raspberry waft above the rim, along with subtle hints of brown sugar. There’s even a little black pepper, to boot.
